We are located in the DN7 postcode area of Doncaster, but cover surrounding areas within a 20 minute drive radius. This would include Thorne, Barnby Dunn, Hatfield, Fishlake, Kirk Sandle, Armthorpe and more! If you’re not sure if we cover your area, why not contact us?
If you are outside out catchment area, there will be an additional cost.

At Delightful Dog Days, we believe training should be clear, fair and enjoyable for both ends of the lead. Our training is guided by the W.O.L.F Approach: Watch, Observe, Lead and Facilitate, allowing us to adapt the way we train to the individual dog rather than relying on a one-size-fits-all method.
We use reward-based training and positive reinforcement to teach and strengthen desirable behaviours, alongside clear communication, appropriate boundaries and consistent guidance. We consider not just what your dog is doing, but why the behaviour may be happening, what is going on around them, and how we can set them up to make better choices.
Our sessions include practical demonstrations, owner education and detailed training plans, giving you the knowledge and confidence to understand your dog, communicate effectively and work together as a team.

The W.O.L.F Approach is Delightful Dog Days’ framework for understanding, training and supporting dogs as individuals. It stands for Watch, Observe, Lead and Facilitate.
It encourages us to look beyond the behaviour we see and consider the whole dog. We Watch their behaviour and body language, Observe their environment and what may be influencing them, Lead with clear, fair and consistent guidance, and Facilitate their success by meeting their needs and creating the right environment for learning.
Rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach, W.O.L.F helps us make thoughtful decisions based on the dog in front of us, while building better communication and stronger relationships between dogs and their people.

Yes, all of our clients will be able to contact us for extra support if needed. Any extra information or modifications to training plans will be delivered during the next consultation booked with us.

Yes! We have a wide range of experience will all sorts of pets, so if you are interested in a Holiday Visit whilst you are away on holiday to look after your pets, feel free to get in touch!
